چکیده

Computer visualisation and medical applications require image registration. It includes transforming collective picture data into the familiar coordinate scheme. Metaheuristic-based methods were developed to explain issue improve efficiency accuracy of conventional registration techniques due their limitations. We describe a hybrid technique using bio-inspired meta-heuristic algorithms: Betteroffspring multi-crossover strategies increase convergent time solution quality with an improvised coral reef optimization modified mutual information (ICOR-MMI) algorithm. This new method (ICORMMI) proposes that reefs expand, compete for space, reproduce. A linear weighted sum intensity contour flow model is added calculation. Including statistical spatial improves The established has been tested verified multiple sets, some which contain single-modality mixed-modality images (CT, MRI). validates proposed model's shows posture's contribution by incorporating geographical data. strategy adapted real-coding problem realtime issues. ICOR-MMI algorithm-based approach outperforms current results in toughness.

A Novel Subsampling Method for 3D Multimodality Medical Image Registration Based on Mutual Information

Mutual information (MI) is a widely used similarity metric for multimodality image registration. However, it involves an extremely high computational time especially when it is applied to volume images. Moreover, its robustness is affected by existence of local maxima. The multi-resolution pyramid approaches have been proposed to speed up the registration process and increase the accuracy of th...

Contour-Based Image Registration Using Mutual Information

Image registration is a problem that arises in many image processing applications whenever information from two or more scenes have to be aligned. In image registration the use of an adequate measure of alignment is a crucial issue. Current techniques are classified in two broad categories: area based and feature based. All methods include some similarity measure. In this paper a new measure th...

Spatial Information Based Medical Image Registration using Mutual Information

Image registration is a problem that arises in many image processing applications whenever information from two or more scenes has to be aligned. A new approach to the problem of multimodality medical image registration is proposed, using a basic concept from spatial information, mutual information, and relative entropy, as a new matching criterion. Firstly, the feature characteristics like loc...

A Multi Resolution Method of Image Registration using Mutual Information

Medical imaging is the technique and process used to create images of the human body for clinical purposes seeking to reveal, diagnose medical science. It is often perceived to designate the set of techniques that noninvasively produce images of the internal aspect of the body. The development of multimodality methodology based on nuclear medicine (NM), positron emission tomography (PET) imagin...
